1.5 Storytelling Project

Project Description

How me and my partner completed the storytelling animation:

For this project, the first thing I did was go to the the costumes section, which is in the file section, then afterwards me and my partner workshopped which costume we wanted to use for our sprites.

Afterwards, I used the broadcast and received blocks from the Control category which allowed me to create the dialogue for the play.

While I was creating the dialogue that the characters were using, my partner was looking for a background on the Internet, and when they clicked on stage, they were able to import the picture that they got from Google onto the stage, which allowed the characters to be in a certain area.

While creating the dialogue, I also used the weight blocks from the control category, the reason why I did this is so that the dialogue didn’t go too quickly, and that each character had time to speak.

Afterwards, once I was finished with the dialogue, I also used the glide and hide blocks, which were both in the motion and looks category. These blocks helped me move the characters off the screen.

When I was finished with the dialogue, my partner once again was looking for another background to use, and with this, she started another scene and use this new background for it. When she completed this, we both worked on the new dialogue for this scene, and that’s how we were able to create a story for this project.
