Abstract Art Polygons

This painting is inspired by randomness and paint strokes.

I first selected 5 colors that I like as my color palette. I went with some uva themed blue and orange. I looked up some complementry colors from coolors.co then played around with the saturation, brightness, and transparancy range with those colors to create the color palette. Then created 5 shapes that I think some what resembled paintbrush strokes: dots, straight stroke, curved stroke, straight line, and curved line. 
I the randomized the starting point and the direction. Then I choose a random saturation, brightness, and transparancy. Finally I created a random shape based on these settings. This is repeated 500 times to create the painting
