Snap! Song Synthesizer

Project Description

Welcome to the Snap! Song Synthesizer!

So far this is only a prototype, so some features may be a bit rusty.

--Instructions--

Click on an empty square to add a note to it. A note will play showing you which note you just added.

Made a mistake? Click the undo button to return the song to the previous state.

Want to remove a note? Click on the square with the note you want to remove to remove it.

Press the triangular play button to hear your melody!

What's that bar and the number next to it, you ask? Why, that the tempo! The bar controls the tempo. Drag the circle to change the tempo.

Want to restart? Just click on the trash can icon to delete everything. But be careful, once you delete everything, there is no going back.

Need more space? Want to reach a higher note? Use the arrow keys to scroll left, right, up, and down.

Because of the way it works, the song synthesizer lags a bit when displaying all of the notes. If you want to remove the lag, hit Space. It will hide all of the notes, removing the lag. You cannot edit your song while the synthesizer is in this state. To view all of the notes, hit Space again.
